Do you enjoy eating berries? The best natural superfoods high in sugars are dried fruits like dates and figs, the second highest source of sugar is from fresh fruit which includes apricots and peaches but also blueberries, strawberries raspberries and black berries making them a healthy option as our sweet treat we can eat. They are not just yummy but they have so much goodness for our body to use. Really, if you think about it all together they sound like the perfect frozen blend of berries that is great for anyone.
Fresh berries are a bonus or an extravagance, at best; but frozen mixed berries take you miles down the road — they go in smoothies and get baked into muffins and stirred into morning bowls of oatmeal. These are frozen (ideal to have a longer shelf life) and they come insolated packed with ice. Just so you can have your precious berries when they are out of season! Even better frozen, so you have some of these yummy berreis all through the winter and summer.
Berries are not only sweet as candy, but I also know a lot about how good they are for us! These snacks are also filled with antioxidants to keep you strong and healthy. Antioxidants are those tiny helpers to help neutralise these few bad weak molecules called free radicals in the body. Those free radicals can quickly take the wind out of your sails. So when you take in fruits such as berries, not just are you stopping any signs of disease that might lie dormant within your body by offering it a protective effect which avoids traveling more throughout the blood vessels (spread), but consuming anti oxidant rich foods is informing yourself to have top health. Isn’t that amazing?
This is one reason why I have also added frozen mixed berries to my pantry list — there are so many ways you can use them! Sprinkle them on yoghurt for a tasty desert or mix in to smoothies and juices for a refreshing drink, you could even mix into pancake batter. And you can bake them into pies, muffins or cakes! That means all those in essence can find you another Favourite New Thing to do with a package of mixed berries.i. This is how your imagination can go wild!
