These are the little helpers that shield us from diseases. Guess what? Frozen blackberries are loaded with these wonderful antioxidants! Bananas are another great snack for you which is low on calories and high in energy; so if you eat them daily, they will do wonders to your body by keeping it healthy.
More than that, blackberries are super healthy. They are high in very important vitamins and nutrients your body needs to be healthy. Providing examples of their high Vitamin C content, boosting your immune system. Also having Vitamin K that is needed for strong bones and potassium, which helps your muscles to work right. Oh, and the incredible antioxidants! Derived from plants and in the flesh of fruits, antioxidants work to protect your body against germs, pollution, etc. that make you sick
One of my favorite things but frozen blackberries is that you can use it for so many other recipes! This feature makes it easy for you to get creative, and think of various ways in which they can be enjoyed. With that in mind, here are some of my favourite super fun and easy things to try!
Blackberry Smoothie: Blend frozen blackberries, yogurt (whatever flavor you prefer or even Greek yoghurt that is high in protein), a little honey for extra sweetness to taste. It is filled with not only tons of yummy flavors, but goodness greens and fruit – which mean it's a really good for you snack any time during the day.
Now, to the topic of frozen blackberries. By "frozen blackberries", we mean, that the fruits are picked at optimal ripeness and then fast-freiz! Not as you would buy from a store, fresh blackberries may have been sitting in the packaging at your local super market for days before being taken. Although fresh fruit sometimes lose some nutrients after eat too much last spring.
Which is Awesome because frozen blackberries have all the health benefits of fresh ones. They can be even better! The vitamins and minerals in frozen blackberries can be just as beneficial because they are typically packed at the time of picking. That way, even out of season you can still receive the health benefits assigned to blackberries.
